SPLITCAM TECH SUPPORT / How can I save video settings?
Last post by Sandrone -
Hello, when I start SplitCam I have to adjust manually several settings in order to have a good image, settings that are flagged as automatic by default, like white balance, focus, exposure and so on. If I exit from SplitCam and launch it again, all my adjustment are still there but if i shut down my computer (windows 11), when I start it again and launch SplitCam, all the settings come back again to the default values.
What can I do to make the changes definitive?
Thank you
Alex

SPLITCAM TECH SUPPORT / Re: How can I disable the server update check?
Last post by SPLITCAM SUPPORT -
Hello

To disable server update and internet connection of splitcam do next steps :

https://splitcam.com/win-download/update/10.8.8_x64.msi
or higher

To prevent SplitCam from accessing the Internet during startup, you can configure it using the local configuration file "local.cfg". In Windows Explorer, go to the "%localappdata%\SplitCam" folder and create a new file named "local.cfg". If the file with this name already exists, open it for editing in the Notepad application. This is a text file, so don't try to use MS Word or any other editor that creates files in a format other than plain text.

In this "local.cfg" file, add a new line with the following content

offline = 1

Now when you start SplitCam, it will not try to contact any Internet servers. It is not recommended to use this configuration option if you are streaming over the Internet to any servers available in SplitCam because the list of streaming servers (ingest servers) may not be up to date and your stream may fail.

SPLITCAM TECH SUPPORT / Smooth Filter
Last post by Sel M -
Hi everyone,
After updating Mac Mini M2 to OS 15 Sequoia, the Smooth Filter no longer works. It seems that selecting the filter activates another filter.
Splitcam Vers. 1.16
Thanks

SPLITCAM TECH SUPPORT / File recorder error
Last post by Fartho88 -
Hey I just installed the SplitCam Software and tried to do test recording but this error message occurs every time I tried to save the file using ‘save as’,   “File recorder error”.  A small file of 262 bytes is saved but that is obvious not right for the test recording.
Further that file is not able to be opened by Media Player which gives a further error saying it cannot open file because possibly file type is unsupported, or file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt.
If one of the Techs could leave a reply to explain how I resolve this problem that would be fantastic.
