Better control over playing a video

I would like a way to create a scene with a video and

• Go to that scene and have it display the first frame of the video as a still image
  
• When I press PLAY play through the video ONCE and stop
  
• Display the final frame as a still image

I understand it is possible to turn off the REPLAY option on the video.  However, when I do this, save the project, and later open the same project, REPLAY is enabled again.

I agree on this. Even an option to not autostart and start at the beginning when a scene is selected video would be great. Positioning the videa at the start is almost impossible (win10 splitcam v10.4.39)

Start and pause a video has improved, but it is almost impossible put the video at the starting position when it is started once (there is a Pause option, but not a Stop option)
When paused, if you try to drag the progress slider, there is no feedback at which position you are. The same time the video edit controls pop up (to rotate and adjust the size/corners)
