On my Reolink E1 pro I use this RTSP address , yours should be similar , just need login password for cam and IP address , if you don't know these use the Reolink app for PC , everything you need will be visible there.
rtsp://admin:YOUR PASSWORD@IP ADDRESS OF CAM:554/h264Preview_01_main
similar to this : rtsp://admin:[email protected]:554/h264Preview_01_main
This works pukka with my Splitcam and a Reolink Pan/tilt/zoom camera .
Also whilst in the REOLINK APP on PC you can get into the camera settings , check both RTSP and ONVIF are ticked in NETWORK settings for camera for best compatibility , they are usually OFF by default.
Thankyou so much , the " Splitcam Driver " now comes up under choices of Video input when using WhatsApp Desktop on my PC , fantastic , I did just try the new 10.8.60 , no luck the Splitcam driver does not appear in the drop down list for video input , so I thought I'd give your suggestion of the older version a go , and Bingo
Will this be fixed in a newer version or am I best to stay with this older version if I want WhatsApp support ?
The only issue I seem to have is it AUTO DOWNLOADS an update for me to v10.8.5 and has a NAG screen to update it , which I don't need or want to use into MY DOWNLOADS folder , is there any easy way to turn off AUTO UPDATE , maybe by modifying a cfg file , as there is no tick box in UI ?
I have tried adding " offline = 1 " to the " local.cfg " file in " %localappdata%\SplitCam " as suggested on the forum , as I only use Splitcam on my LOCAL network , no streaming as such , but it still checks for updates ?
Splitcam works fine it allows me to overlay 2 x Video feeds + 2 x Audio feeds in 1 scene as a virtual camera using RTSP IP cams , and then use this virtual webcam on Teams .
However WhatsApp PC does not have it in drop down of available cams for Video call , is this a Splitcam issue or is WhatsApp PC blocking the virtual camera input , as I see when Googling it , many 1 yr + old posts say it should work fine , but there is nothing recent to say it does ? I did find people saying OBS works , but I rather like Splitcams interface.
