I also have issue in Text layer. When I switch to text layer the Splitcam app freezes and it results to freeze my mac too.
Is there any workaround to fix this?

I would love if it can run on macOS 10.12 (Sierra)

The splitcam works like charm in PC Windows 10, however there is a delay (frame drops) in video sharing.
Transition effect sometimes buffers with text layers even if its at lower order.
