SPLITCAM TECH SUPPORT / Reolink IP Camera RTSP format?
Last post by Stacy Bettencourt -
I have SplitCam on my desktop and after an entire evening of trying different variations of RTSP addresses, I finally found the one that works for my Reolink RLC-811A IP Camera. The trouble is that I need to run Split Cam on my laptop and I installed it there. Now I can't figure out the RTSP that I used on my desktop and it's not working no matter what format I try.

Is there a way to find out the RTSP Stream format that I'm using on my desktop so I can use that same format on my laptop?

Is there a list of formats for Reolink cameras on SplitCam?

Thanks!

SPLITCAM TECH SUPPORT / The preview window is not pinned to the top of other windows.
Last post by 010919912312 -
(The preview window doesn't stay on top of other windows.) I have Windows 10. I've used different versions of SplitCam, the newest and older versions. I've tried about 10 utilities that help pin a window on top of other windows, but nothing works. I've uninstalled Windows updates in the hopes that this would fix the bug. Nothing helps. Bottom line: in order for the preview window to stay on top of other windows (usually the browser window), I need to restart my computer about 10-50 times for this feature to work correctly. I also want to note that I tried not making the browser window full screen, but stretching it to the maximum size, but keeping it in windowed mode also didn't work. I use SplitCam for work; I have an incredibly difficult job, and I can't afford to spend 30-60 minutes restarting my PC before work. pls help me im cant work 3 days......... I also want to note that I tried completely deleting Splitcam from my computer and downloading it again. When using new window snapping utilities, the old utilities were removed correctly, leaving no traces on the computer. The PC's boot registry is empty, and no additional programs launch with the computer. I don't use any overlays (Steam, Nvidia, or EA).

SPLITCAM TECH SUPPORT / Re: GPUCache
Last post by Anatoly Smelkov -
GPUCache folders are created automatically by applications that use hardware-accelerated graphics (via your GPU). They store compiled shaders, textures, and rendering data so the app can draw things faster next time. Apps recreate them whenever needed. If an app renders UI with the GPU then it likely creates GPUCache: Web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox), Electron-based apps (Discord, VS Code, Slack), Media players, Game launchers, Any app using DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan, or ANGLE. SplitCam is not an exclusion: it also uses DirectX and web browser libraries for its tasks, so yes, it creates GPUCache folders with cached data in them. But I bet that most GPUCache folders in your system were not created by SplitCam but by a dozen of other programs.

I'm observing folders with the name "GPUCache" scattered all over my hard disk. I suspect SplitCam creates these folders. Is my suspicion correct, and what can I do about it? I'd prefer to have only one such a folder, if one must have one.

Can you please tell exact locations?  Actually splitcam app has no rights to create folders everywhere....

SPLITCAM TECH SUPPORT / Save IP Cam framing
Last post by Ben W -
Hi!
I use SplitCam to feed an IP Camera into another program. I zoom in and have my frame set, but on each relaunch it resets to the full IP Camera image. Is there a way to save the zoomed in shot as the default on launch?

Thanks!
