If the new release will be made available let say this week, this is also sufficient for me. Thanks a lot!
Please also verify the installation package which is automated downloaded when you enter the download website and the manual downloading option by clicking on the text button on your web site. For me it seems that they are different versions which are downloadable.
Thanks for your response, but i tried out everything (i think) but it doesnt work. Here you see the video i have made with the results: https://crm.vepro.com/~IhOjv
i have now setup a brandnew WINDOWS 10 PRO installation - to prevent any Operating System issues. Now by surprise i see the missing Chroma Key options PLUS a new option in the general settings: ADDITIONAL... and the organization of the SETUP was a little bit changed. BUT coming back to CHROMA-KEY - i just have now all the options available but when i switch on the function with the button - nothing works - you can slide any config button - no results. I worked former with OBS, so i am not a newcomer by using such functions. One thing i want to mention: it seems if you press the DOWNLOAD button (you automatically get the download window displayed) that this version is different than on same website, where you can manually hit the download button of the latest version. Please also note that i had previously always installed the latest version 10.5.27.
I added a link here, with a screenshot how the CHROMA GUI looks on my computer - again no chance to activate something and also note on the previous installation i had the chance to switch the Chroma-Key button to ON and something happened, but i could not correct the green background color, which is NOW in latest installation possible but has no functionality.
Hello, thinking that there are few bugs in handling IP-cameras. May be the following information will help: we have also connected a IP-Cam and i saved the configuration to an XML file. THis configuration file want to use on another PC where Splitcam is also installed. But in this network the IP-Cam was not reachable. When i tried to delete the IP-Cam in the MEDIA Layer - the Splitcam crashed - if i tried to delete the entire scene where the IP-Camera was involved it crashed as well. Solution found: first STOP the stream with the PAUSE button under the MEDIA SETTINGS - than we could delete the camera or delete the scene. Not sure if it helps in your case
We installed splitcam version 10.5.12 x64 on WINDOWS 10 - 64bit - german language - Dell PC, i7 CPU, 16GB Ram, Intel graphic card. Everything works fine so far - congratulation to this software.
But for the Chroma Key function there is no setting where you can select another key color - e.g. blue or another green. Based on WEBcam the green screen looks a little bit darker and therefor the color for chroma key, must be adapted. In OBS such options are available. When i evaluated the installed software of splitcam, i found a DLL file with the name: avfilter-7.dll and if you check this file with a hex editor you can find the function: chromahold...set the chroma key color or set the chromakey key blend value and so on. So it indicates that it was foreseen to select the green screen color in RGB or other color format. But there is nowhere such a button where you can set or change the green screen color. Please note the attached file link where i have saved the screenshot how it looks on my PC, when i select the setup of chromakey.
Have i overseen something?
There is another information - may be important: in the ABOUT Info of this version, there is a newer version 10.5.20 listed - published in 22 June 2021 - but this version is not installed nor it is downloadable..... may be there is a version conflict? Regards H.Roth
