The problem is you should only use restream for your cam you can use your cam on 2 different programs you have to choose restream or splitcam the error comes from your cam already being in use.
You have to give them time to work on it just because the update history is there don't mean it's done. As much as i want it to be done it needs to be done correct not rushed
Next I want the Sony Alpha a9 II Mirrorless Digital Camera A buddy of mine has it and it rips my cannon R5 in every way the quality usability setting it up with your pc/mac/linux is way easier so That will be my next camera
ok I tried it with the cannon EOS R5 then my webcam EOS web utility is causing the problem with my Logitech webcam there is no leak. Maybe a update to spiltcam can fix it but I think it's Cannon's utility causing the problem with splitcam
The link is useless. I have had splitcam on for up to 2 hours and have never had a crash or a spike in memory. I do a lot of sharing of different windows on my PC when I'm doing a live stream and I never see mine go over 120 mb. I run Wndows 10 PRO 20H2 with splitcam 10.4.66
that don't fix what people see what I showed you is a screen shot straight from the cam what you would see if you looked at my cam you can not change that I tried every things . On my side I see full screen others viewing my cam don't . when i looked at stacks overflow most I see screen size are set at 240 x 320 in the code even manycam that I hate so much
I'm running NVIDIA 1660 SUPER with out any popups. Think your best bet is to use something like REVO OR IOBIT UNINSTALLER uninstall splitcam and reinstall it and see if you still get the problem.
The problem I have is the screen when on cam stays in cinema mode. I have tried to reside the window and fit it to canvas even nothing works.
Understand this is beta everything takes time for the developer to do and he is doing the best he can. I would have the the devloper take there time do it right then rush and sure we all want it done now but now will come when the time is right along with the features
I get no error. few things to check for make sure you have nothing running when you install it, turn your security off make sure that is not blocking it you can use revouninstall to do a very clean uninstall. the last thing you can try is going into safe mode and trying to install it that way and see if you get the same error. sometimes the update hangs on your screen during install leave it will move it's installing dll's and other files it will need to run be patient
