Platform Updates and Google Requirements Compliance
In 2025, the SplitCam application was updated to comply with the latest Android platform and Google Play requirements.
It is now available for download from the Google Play.
- Updated the target API level to Android 15 (API level 35) in accordance with Google Play policies.
- Implemented support for 16 KB memory page size required by newer Android devices.
- Upgraded Jetpack Compose and related libraries to ensure compatibility with the latest Android versions.
- Applied fixes and adjustments to ensure stable operation on modern Android releases.
Visual Effects and Graphics Enhancements
- Integrated the DeepAR SDK, enabling the use of real-time beauty effects and a wide range of AR masks to create engaging and entertainment-focused live stream content.
- Expanded real-time video processing capabilities through face tracking and advanced effect rendering.
- Performed rendering and graphics optimizations to improve performance and stability on modern devices.
Streaming and Audio Improvements
- Fixed and optimized screen streaming functionality.
- Added separate volume controls for application audio and microphone audio, allowing more flexible sound management during live streams.

YouTube Streaming Management

- Implemented OnlyFans authentication within the application.
- Added full OnlyFans stream configuration matching the capabilities of the web platform:
- tip management;
- access and interaction settings;
- stream description editing;
- complete stream configuration options.
- All core OnlyFans streaming settings are now available directly in the mobile application.
Restreaming Architecture Changes
- Migrated to a new restreaming architecture.
- Removed WebSocket-based communication.
- Implemented HTTP-based restreaming, improving reliability and simplifying maintenance.
- Optimized the network layer and error handling.
Performance Optimization and System Improvements
